Levend Kılıç graduate from Ankara University, Political Sciences Faculty, School of Journalism and Broadcasting in 1976. Following his graduation, Dr. Kılıç has joined Eskişehir Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences to participate in a Turkish-Germany joint Project dedicated to establishing Color TV in Turkey from 1976 to 1980 as a producer-director. At the same time he has started his graduate work at the Faculty of Communication in Communication and Television Production. Since the Academy became Anadolu University in 1981, Dr. Kılıç’s work naturally continued in this newly his Ph.D degree, became an associate his research in electronic image (video) in various institutions in various Professional journals. He is also the writer and editor four highly praised books Media Aesthetics and Video Art: A Critical Approach, Introduction to Photography, Social History of Photography and Cinema, Culture of Photography. Dr. Kılıç, at present, is a member of Anadolu University teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Media Aesthetics, Optic View, Video Art and Television Productions and photography. He is Honorary Chair, Eskişe-hir Art Photo Association , Board of Directors Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey.
