Art is the expression of beauty. By the means of photography, we will witness this beauty for the second time from 15th to 21st September. Last year bringing together East &West, old &new with the “Encounters” theme, the festival this year pursuit of “Traces of Humanity”.
Humanity is an adventure of self-searching. Wars, peace, defeats, victories, famines, toughness, riches, poverty has always been a part of this adventure. Humanity; with its all differences gets closer to each other as a family.
While watching the “Traces of Humanity” sometimes a feeling which cannot be told in a long page of text, life, will be perceived through photographs.
Last year, as the first International Photography Festival of Bursa, BursaFotoFest brought together world photographers in Bursa, this year will get photo artists from different countries together with Bursa citizens and by such events like exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops will have felt its authenticity
I sincerely hope that the 2nd International Photography Festival of Bursa, which is jointly produced by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa City Council and Bursa Photographic Art Society, will be a great success and I extend my best regards to all who participate.
